HOW TO FRY DELICIOUS AND PERFECT SQUID CAKES 👍

– Heat up the pan and wait until it’s hot, then pour oil into the pan. Estimate the amount of oil to fully submerge the squid cakes. Note that it’s advisable not to fry too many squid cakes at once.

– Place the squid cakes into the pan before the oil gets hot. You don’t need to worry about the cakes absorbing too much oil because HT Foods’ squid cakes DO NOT contain any flour mixture inside. Please note that if you store the squid cakes in the freezer, they need to be thawed naturally before frying.

– Fry the squid cakes for about 4 to 5 minutes at a moderate temperature, neither too high nor too low. Flip them regularly to ensure even cooking on both sides.

– When the cakes turn from pale yellow to a deep golden color (as shown in the picture) and emit a fragrant squid aroma, it means the squid cakes are done. If they are undercooked, they will taste fishy and have a soft interior. It’s important not to overcook them, as they can become dry and tough.
